MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – The return of the comeback!
The war on drugs started under the administration of Rodrigo Duterte is far from over. It continues into the new administration of President Bongbong Marcos.
Senators Bong Go and Bato de la Rosa — known to be among the closest confidants of Duterte — have proposed to Marcos that the former president be appointed the country’s Drug Czar.

But Duterte cannot do it alone. He needs help from his most trusted allies.
So, in blueprint submitted to Malacañang, Go and de la Rosa proposed the creation of a Drug War Triumvirate, composed of who else — Duterte as Drug Czar, and Go and de la Rosa as co-Deputy Drug Czars.
Such commitment from the trio to finish what they started.
Is a drug-free Philippines coming soon?
