MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – There are several ways to win an election: joining a political party, being a part of a group of candidates, or… campaigning in tandem.

The senatorial (mid-term) elections are closing in on Filipinos. Many coalitions, political slates and independent candidates are already setting their sights on the 2025 contest.

The greatest buzz is that former Presidential and Senatorial candidates are teaming up for increased chance of victory in 2025.

One such tandem is that of ex-Vice President Leni Robredo and defeated senatorial candidate Chel Diokno who are trying their hand at a possible comeback. And they’re doing it in tandem. They are calling themselves “Le-Che,” which is in reference to Leni and Chel.
