MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – The glass ceiling has been broken with Asian actress Michelle Yeoh winning the Oscar Best Actress Award this week.

It may no longer be an impossible dream to finally have a Filipino win the most-coveted acting or even directing award at The Academy!

Enter Atty. Vince Tañada, actor-director, known most recently for his anti-Marcos flickflops “Katips” and “Ako Si Ninoy.”

Tañada told The Adobo Chronicles that his sight is now focused on being the first Filipino Oscar awardee as director, actor or both.
