MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Two weeks before the filing of Certificates of Candidacy (COC), the race for President in the 2022 Philippine elections is getting tighter. Or is it?

So far, Senators Panfilo Lacson and Manny Pacquiao, as well as Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, have all declared their intention to run for President, while Vice President Leni Robredo is still dilly dallying.

Bongbong Marcos has already been endorsed as Presidential nominee of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (National Federal Party) and many believe it is just a matter of days before the son the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos will officially join the race.

But is it all show and tell?

The Adobo Chronicles spoke with all declared Presidential candidates including Leni Robredo and asked them who in their honest opinion will be the next President of the Philippines.

Lo and behold, all pointed to one and the same winner: Bongbong Marcos.
