MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – President Rodrigo Duterte, speaking on the possibility that he will run for Vice President in 2022, said that the Presidential candidate and winner should be his ally, otherwise, he would be “inutile.”

Upon hearing of Duterte’s comment, Vice President Leni Robredo said in a statement that the President should “speak for himself.”

”I am not an ally of Duterte, but I have never been inutile as the VP,” Robredo told The Adobo Chroniclers.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque has yet to respond to Robredo’s statement.

Is this yet another trigger for Roque who is known to get easily annoyed and by criticism from the VP?
