Each Senator Will Occupy 3 Floors In The Proposed New Senate Building

25C49BF6-945C-4C5D-A4DF-9092FD936AFAMANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Construction of a new, P10-Billion Philippine Senate Building is expected to begin next year, to be completed by 2021.

The new Senate headquarters, to be built on a two-hectare lot to be sold by the Bases Conversion Development Authority in Bonifacio Global City, will reportedly comprise of four state-of-the-art glass-walled buildings, each 18 stories high, with a park in the center.

So let’s do the math.

There are 24 Senators.

If each building has 18 floors, that means the total for the four is 72 floors.

72 divided by 25 equals 3.

3 floors for each Senator!

And who’s paying for all this?  YOU!
