No, he actually is the organizer for many of these mass actions. He’s been doing this all his life. It’s his profession. He’s self-employed. His name is Renato Reyes, secretary-general of Alyansang Makabayan, or Bayan for short.
The Adobo Chronicles sat down with Reyes for an exclusive interview. Here’s the full transcript:
AC: If you don’t mind, how old are you now?
Reyes: It’s immaterial to what I do.
AC: What do you do, exactly?
Reyes: I’m a master planner. I plan protests and mass actions. I mobilize people. I am the conscience of the Filipinos.
AC: So what do you think of the Supreme Court decision on the Quo Warranto case against Maria Lourdes Sereno?
