SAN JOSE, California (The Adobo Chronicles, San Jose Bureau) – There’s an emoji for all sorts of emotions on Facebook — sad, happy, angry, being gay — but none for being sarcastic.

Finally, the social networking giant is giving in to requests for a sarcastic emoticon so that netizens don’t have to explain that their comment or post is meant to taunt, criticize or humorize (is there such a word?).

Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has sought the assistance of The Adobo Chronicles’ readers and followers to help design or identify an emoticon that would best represent sarcasm.
