NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – It was a comment directed at FOX News anchor Megyn Kelly during the presidential debate, but now, Donald Trump has reprised that comment, this time aimed at former VP candidate and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.
“You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever,” Trump said after Palin criticized him for the tax deal he negotiated with Carrier.
Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence helped arrange $7 million in Indiana tax breaks over 10 years for Carrier in exchange for the company’s promise to keep about 800 of 1,400 jobs in the U.S. instead of moving them to Mexico. In addition, Trump threatened to impose a stiff tariff on Carrier products if they sent all of the work across the border.
Palin, who is reportedly under consideration to join Donald Trump’s cabinet, blasted the tax deal, condemning it as “crony capitalism.”
The president-elect was, of course, not happy at Palin’s comments, and that’s when he repeated what he said about Kelly.
