MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – When the final moments of the 2017 Miss Universe Beauty Pageant to be held in Manila unravels, many are predicting that it will be a repeat of last year’s controversial contest. Miss Philippines and Miss Colombia will be the last two women standing.

Many will recall that pageant host Steve Harvey mistakenly announced Miss Colombia as the 2016 winner when, in fact, it was Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach who was selected by the judges as the new Miss Universe.

Beauty experts and enthusiasts are betting their bottom dollars on Miss Colombia and Miss Philippines to be the top two candidates.  They, however, cannot bet on Harvey making the correct announcement.
