Ted Cruz Will Speak At Democratic National Convention

imagePHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – Sources close to the Democratic National Committee (DNC) have confirmed to The Adobo Chronicles that the chosen theme for this year’s convention is “Vote Your Conscience.”

The theme reinforces the idea that it is “unconscionable” for any American to vote for Donald Trump.

And what better person to expound on this theme than former Republican presidential candidate Senator Ted Cruz.

Cruz emphasized this theme during his speech at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland earlier this week. He has been invited by DNC to speak just before Hillary Clinton delivers her nomination acceptance speech.  He has accepted.

Upon learning of the news, Trump accused Cruz of being a turncoat and a sore loser.  The senator from Texas refused to endorse Trump during his Cleveland speech, eliciting boos from the Republican crowd.

We caught up with Cruz on his way to Philadelphia and asked him if this meant he was voting for Clinton in November.  “I am still undecided, but I know that my wife Heidi Cruz will. In no way is she voting for a misogynist like Trump.”

During the Republican primaries, Trump and Cruz became engaged in a personal war of words, with Trump sharing an unflattering picture of Heidi on Twitter.

  1. If you boneheads think for one second that the most conservative congressman (aside from Mike Lee) would be entertaining the idiots at the DNC then no freaking wonder Trump won. Hillary should be thanking her lucky stars that she doesn’t have to debate Ted. You think Trey Gowdy was tough on her? I’m not talking about calling her cankles for an hour tough. I’m talking about wearing her down from every angle and every decision she’s ever made. Calling Hillary unfit is one thing. PROVING Hillary is unfit is another.

      2. Jennifer you forget history. Who was the best president? A man named Ronald Reagan. Who was married three times . a movie actor, But sharp as a tack. Common sense policies. although his wife Nancy read the stars and He believed in Aliens, who could come to earth. Worst President in recent times was Carter who was married to one woman for 50 years, a peanut farmer, but could not do anything right. We cannot second guess God and if you are a Christian, then we believe he is in control and can use the flaws of man. He did this with anointed kings such as David, Cyrus, Saul and Nebuchadnezzar All had flaws. Just my two cents worth in this election results.     1. How can they be a true Republican if they vote for Hillary? They know how corrupt she is. I feel he is selling out. It would be better if he didn’t even vote. This makes it look like he don’t even care for America to vote for Hillary because a vote for her is a vote for Obama.
