WASILLA, Alaska (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – Speaking to CNN on Sunday, former Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin said that Spanish-speaking people who are in America must, “be legal, or they’re out of here,” and that while here, “they should speak American.”
Palin, who failed in her Spanish and French language classes in high school, was reacting to Donald Trump’s criticism of fellow Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush who is bilingual in English and Spanish.
The Adobo Chronicles® caught up with Palin as she was preparing to go on a long Labor Day weekend vacation to Cancun, Mexico, and we asked her what kind of “American” speech she was referring to. Was it the southern accent, New York accent, Alaskan accent or Minnesota accent?
In response, Palin said, “Oh, I betcha, that’s one of those media ‘gotcha questions’ that I’m not gonna answer.”
Did she just say Minnesota?
