X Cancels Film Actor/Director’s Account For Violating Community Standards

SAN FRANCISCO, California (The Adobo Chronicles, San Francisco Bureau) – X (formerly Twitter) is dead serious about its community guidelines, including that which involves nudity.

X has cancelled Filipino actor and director Vince Tañada’s (“Katips,” “Ako Si Ninoy”) account for posting a self photo with no clothes on.

X’s guidelines are clear about banning nudity and sexual behaviour.

The Adobo Chronicles reached out to Elon Musk in San Francisco and asked for his comment on this development.

“It is not so much about the guy posting his nude photo. It is more about netizens being offended by his gory display of body tattoos,” Musk said.

Camella Homes To Partner With Bureau Of Corrections To Create A PDL Barrio!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Camella Homes, a real estate and subdivision company owned by Senator Cynthia Villar and family has entered into a cooperative agreement with the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) for the establishment of a barrio where persons deprived of liberty (PDL) will be allowed to live with their families while serving their sentence.

Villar made the announcement following BuCor Director General Gregorio Catapang Jr. revealed his plan to create said barrio for incarcerated Filipinos and their families.

In an interview with The Adobo Chronicles, Villar said she and her real estate planners already have a mock-up of what the said barrio will look like.

Among other things, the barrio will be self-sustaining, built within a subdivision with high security walls and CCTV, and having all the amenities needed for the inmates and their families’ survival — including a supermarket, bank, hospital, beauty parlor, mini-department store, inter-faith chapel and a gym.

Camella Homes has already identified a suitable site for the barrio, to be built on reclamation land

Senator Cynthia Villar Seeks Camella Homes Exemption From Reclamation Suspension!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Senator Cynthia Villar is appealing to President Bongbong Marcos to exempt Camella Homes from the order suspending all reclamation projects in Manila Bay. Camella Homes is one of the real estate and subdivision projects owned the Villar family.

Marcos suspended all 22 reclamation projects in Manila Bay pending a review of their compliance with environmental regulations.

“I seek exemption on the grounds that housing is one of the pillars of the country’s economic development,” Villar said.

The lady senator added that Camella Homes has already exhausted the conversion of agricultural lands into subdivisions and that her only hope is to rely on reclamation projects to keep their family business alive.

Malacañang has not responded to Villar’s appeal as of press time.
