Sass Rogando Sasot, a self-proclaimed international relations expert and prominent supporter of the Duterte administration (DDS), recently stirred controversy by claiming that Facebook/Meta removed her account without notice. 

Later, however, she backtracked, suggesting that her account had been hacked. This sequence of events raises questions about Sasot’s credibility, as she manages multiple social media accounts, including one with Chinese characters. 

The incident could reflect either genuine confusion or an adeptness in navigating (and perhaps circumventing) platform policies. 

Interestingly, while claiming not to use Twitter, she posted about her Facebook issue on X (formerly Twitter). Such inconsistencies call attention to her complex relationship with social media, possibly revealing her expertise in account management or attempts to amplify her presence across platforms. Either way, the episode invites scrutiny of the methods some public figures use to retain influence amid social media challenges.
