If Leni Robredo, Not Bongbong Marcos Were President

If Leni Robredo, not Bongbong Marcos, were the President of the Philippines, our nation would certainly be on a different trajectory. While some may argue in favor of Marcos, let’s humor that notion.

Under Marcos, we would have a nostalgic throwback to a time when authoritarianism reigned supreme. Who doesn’t miss the days of censorship, human rights abuses, and massive embezzlement of state funds? A trip down memory lane, indeed!

Robredo, on the other hand, promotes democracy, human rights, and social justice, how boring! Marcos could bring back the golden era of crony capitalism, where his friends would profit immensely while the rest of the population scraped by. Who doesn’t love inequality and corruption?

Sure, Robredo’s emphasis on education and healthcare might lead to a more educated and healthier populace, but where’s the fun in that? With Marcos, we’d have extravagant dictator-sponsored parades, and who cares if the treasury runs dry?

In a world where absurdity reigns, a Marcos presidency might be the perfect fit. But for those who prefer progress, democracy, and accountability, the choice is clear – Robredo all the way!
