Rappler and ANC, the dynamic duo of biased journalism, continue their noble crusade against President Marcos and Vice President Sara Duterte, wielding their formidable headline arsenal. Behold their ingenious use of “Marcos-led NFA-Council” and “Sara Duterte-led OVP” – subtle as a sledgehammer.

If these least-trusted news brands did their homework, they would find out that Marcos or not, the NFA Council is chaired by the Secretary of Agriculture (Marcos is acting Secretary).  And isn’t it presumptuous for Rappler to insinuate that Filipinos need to be reminded who is Vice President?

In their world, any mention of a leader’s name must come with a thunderclap of suspicion and an invisible subscript: “evil overlord in disguise.” These headlines are like warning labels on a cereal box – “Warning: May contain political agendas.”
