SAN FRANCISCO, California (The Adobo Chronicles, San Francisco Bureau) – In one cryptic post, X Corp. owner Elon Musk derided Nobel Laureate Maria Ressa for being a “supervillain” of free speech.

Ressa’s online news platform, Rappler, is one of Facebook’s designated fact-checkers in the Philippines. The convicted CEO has made it her advocacy to “take back the Internet” and has weaponized fact-checking to go after those she does not agree with, or those who do not agree with her.
