SAN JOSE, California (The Adobo Chronicles, San Jose HQ) – The Board of Directors of The Adobo Chronicles has announced that Filipino motivational speaker Rendon Labador is joining its staff as Chief Motivational Guru!

The announcement comes just days and hours after Labador’s social media accounts — TikTok, Facebook and Google — were taken down because of alleged mass reporting by netizens not happy about his posts. It wasn’t clear what “community standards” he violated.

His Twitter account is now also temporarily unavailable.

In his appointment, AC said that free speech is an inherent right and that no person should be banned from exercising that right — not even Nobel Peace Prize winner and convicted Rappler CEO Maria Ressa.

Labador will write a column for AC focusing on issues pertaining to the true, the good and the beautiful, and original quotes that motivate people to live life to the fullest and inspirational thoughts that uplift the soul.
