MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Motivational Speaker Rendon Labador whose TikTok, Facebook and Google Accounts were taken down for unknown reasons found a strange bedfellow in the person of Nobel Prize winner and Rappler CEO Maria Ressa.

Just hours after Labador’s TikTok, Facebook and Google accounts were taken down for unclear reasons, Ressa came to his defense, saying that what happened to the hunk is an attack on free speech.

Ressa is a known advocate for freedom of speech and of the press.

“I call on TikTok, Meta and Google to immediately restore Labador’s accounts in the interest of freedom of information and against censorship,” Ressa told The Adobo Chronicles.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk, owner of X (formerly Twitter), offered Labador a complimentary verified check mark for his account. “I am waiving the required $11.00 fee that we charge for the blue check mark,” he said.
