EDSA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, EDSA Bureau) – EDSA once more became the center of opposition when thousands of Dilawan (Yellows) — those who support the Aquinos — rallied to demand justice for their slain hero, Ninoy Aquino.
But this protest was no like any other. The Dilawans were protesting against the Aquinos and their allies.
The mass gathering deplored the fact that justice has not been achieved in the assassination of Ninoy. “Nothing was done by three past administrations to finally resolve the late senator’s martyrdom,” the rallyists told The Adobo Chronicles.
“They had three administrations — of 18 years total — to resolve the crime, citing 6 years of Cory Aquino, 6 years of Fidel Ramos (who lead in the People Power uprising), and Noynoy Aquino,” they added.

The protest came just two days before the anniversary of the assassination of Ninoy Aquino (August 21) which has been declared a working holiday in the Philippines.
