SOUTH CHINA SEA (The Adobo Chronicles, Aquatic Bureau) – Emotions ran high after the Philippine Coast Guard released a video of the Chinese Coast Guard firing a water cannon at a Philippine supply boat in the South China Sea.

Philippine Senators immediately condemned the incident and proposed sanctions against China, including banning China state-owned businesses in the Philippines and lodging a formal complaint with the United Nations.

But a video from a different angle tells a different story. The CCG didn’t hit anywhere near the ship’s deck. It sprayed on the water!

Will the senators now temper their emotions and go easy on China?
