MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – She may have won a major crown in the recent Miss Grand Philippines beauty pageant, but Herlene Budol’s Miss Tourism Philippines title is nothing but one in limbo!

A statement from ALV Pageant Circle and Miss Grand Philippines says that there is yet no assurance that Budol will represent the Philippines in the Miss Tourism World Pageant in London.

International pageants seem to be Budol’s achilles heel. Many will recall that the comedienne turned beauty queen withdrew from last year’s Miss Planet International pageant after experiencing “uncertainties” from the pageant organizers.
