NAGA CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Naga Bureau) – When ex-Vice President Leni Robredo launched Angat Buhay as a Non-Government Organization (NGO), she and her cohorts promised it will be the largest volunteer network in the Philippines.
It’s about a year now since that formal launching but Angat is still struggling to enlist volunteers.
So today, Angat Buhay announced it was collaborating with ABS-CBN, which is — or was — the country’s largest network.
By capitalizing on the reputation of of ABS-CBN, Robredo said her Angat Buhay could finally achieve the numbers she needed to make good on her promise.
After all, thousands of ABS-CBN employees and talents are out of of a job since the network’s franchise was not renewed by Congress. Robredo urged all the unemployed from ABS-CBN to contact their nearest Angat Buhay headquarters to sign up. “It’s all for a good cause,” the ex-VP said.

Earlier, Angat Buhay forged a collaboration with another organization in Negros to make it look good for Robredo.
