CANNES, France (The Adobo Chronicles, Paris Bureau) –Hollywood star Johnny Depp received a warm welcome in Cannes as he arrived for the premiere of his first ‘Jeanne du Barry’.

Meanwhile, in an obscure town just outside of Paris, Filipino film director and certified Kakampink was warmly welcomed by organizers of the Canned Film Festival.

Tañada’s film, “Ako Si Ninoy” is the only entry in the festival.
