Starbucks Employee Fired For Being Accurate With Customer

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Baguio Bureau) – An employee of a Starbucks Café at SM Baguio was fired just for being accurate with a customer.

As is customary, Starbucks baristas ask for a customer’s name to imprint on the recyclable cup for calling out when the order is ready to pick up.

The employee asked a customer for his name and the latter said “Brian with a y.” And that’s exactly what the employee wrote on the cup.

When the employee finally called out the customer’s name, he shouted, “Iced mocha for Brian with a y.”

The customer felt insulted and reported the employee to the manager who immediately fired the poor employee.

It was a sad ending for the employee’s Holy Week.
