Ateneo Snubs Raissa Robles’ Book In Reading List of Martial Law Literature

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Quezon City Bureau) – In anticipation of a Bongbong Marcos presidency, the Ateneo de Manila University released a list of top Martial Law books it described as a ”reading list” presumably to sow resistance to the administration of the son of the late, great Ferdinand E. Marcos.

But alas, the list seems to have snubbed one of the most ballyhooed book written by self-proclaimed investigative journalist Raissa Robles:
Marcos Martial Law: Never Again.”

Netizens immediately started speculating that the anti-Marcos Robles’s book was not scholarly enough per the standards of one of the top universities in the country.

The Adobo Chronicles tried to reach Robles for comment but it appears her mobile phone was out of data or suspended for non-payment of her monthly bill.

We’ll keep on trying.
