Traffic on EDSA was light. Almost eerie.
But an analysis performed by consultants of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) showed that the easing of traffic was not because single drivers stayed away from EDSA.
Rather, married drivers made a detour. They didn’t want people to know they were no longer single.
