MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Ask anyone who has to travel daily between home and work or school in Metro Manila.  Traffic in most thoroughfares is a nightmare and it’s not limited to commute hours.

But now, Filipinos in the metropolis can breathe a sigh of relief. They couldn’t have it any better than many cities the world over.

The INRIX 2016 Global Traffic Scorecard has released its list of 1,000 cities around the world with the worst traffic congestion.  Lo and behold, Metro Manila did not even make it to the top 1,000!

So, Metro Manilans, count your blessings!

(Or work harder to get into the radar of INRIX.  Right now, it seems Metro Manila doesn’t matter!)
