NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – After receiving a lot of flak for its latest issue whose cover depicts the Philippines and the government’s war on drugs, Time magazine recalled all copies and immediately replaced its cover to better reflect the truth.

“We are committed to reporting only the truth, so when we err, it is ourm reponsibility to correct our error,” the magazine editors said.

The reprint includes an apology from the writer of the cover story, Rishi Iyengar, and the local Philippine journalists who fed him the misinformation.
