Jeane Napoles’ Lawyer Just Admitted His Client Falsified U.S. Public Documents

imageLOS ANGELES, California (The Adobo Chronicles, Los Angeles Bureau) – Jeane Napoles may avoid paying taxes to the Philippine Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), but she could face fraud and felony charges in the United States, thanks to her lawyer, Atty. Stephen David.

In an attempt to help her client avoid paying taxes to the BIR on her real properties in the U.S., David said this week that such properties were registered in her name only because she was applying for US citizenship.

“Pinangalan namin sa kanya iyan kasi at that time she was applying for a US citizenship. Alam n’yo naman kung mag-apply ka ng citizenship kailangan mo ipakita na meron kang mga holdings, may properties ka,” David claimed.

Jeane is the daughter of suspected pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Napoles.

David’s admission will now serve as Exhibit A in a potential fraud case that could be brought against him and his client — for falsifying documents submitted to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Sometimes, lawyers talk too much, and in the process, incriminate their own clients.
