MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Every Filipino knows that he or she doesn’t have to vote for the vice presidential running mate of presidential candidates.  Philippine presidential elections are like chop suey, you can mix and match.  In fact, incumbent Vice President Jejomar Binay does not belong to the same Liberal Party of President NoyNoy Aquino.

So, in the spirit of chop suey, we are conducting a national poll never conducted before by any polling organization.  We’re calling it the ‘Great Presidential-VPD Mix-Up Poll.’

Here are the rules:  we’ve chosen to mix and match the presidential and vice presidential candidates across party lines; all you have to do is vote for your favorite pairing. No substitutions, please!
