CUPERTINO, California (The Adobo Chronicles) – This year, it’s the Apple Watch.  Next year, it will be the Apple Shade.

Today, Apple and Google jontly announced a multi-million dollar deal under which Apple will buy the rights to Google Glass to make it its next generation wearable technology following this year’s launching of the Apple Watch.

Apple CEO Tim Cook told reporters that his company’s next big launch will be the Apple Shade which will combine the best features of Google Glass and the Apple Watch.

The new product, now being manufactured in China, will be launched in the fall. Like the Apple Watch,  Apple Shade can only function if paired with the Apple iPhone.  Leaked documents showed that  the Apple Shade has the capability of reading and sending emails, browsing the Internet, playing iTunes music,  taking photos and videos, checking calorie consumption and can monitor health and fitness scores — all from the comfort of a sporty pair of sunglasses.

Apple Shade will be available for customers wearing both prescription  and non-prescription lenses.  Initially, it will only be available as a sunglass for outdoor use and only in white.
