An Ode To Juan Ponce Enrile

On Enrile’s hundredth, oh, what a delight,

A century of living, still shining bright.

Valentine’s love and Ash Wednesday’s grace,

A curious mix in life’s timeless race.

With rumors abound, of secrets untold,

Of corned beef magic, so we’re told.

Delimondo’s delight, his daily feast,

Keeps him immortal, to say the least.

Through scandals and strife, he’s stood his ground,

A political phoenix, ever unbound.

With every year, a tale to be spun,

Of Enrile’s exploits, second to none.

So raise a toast, to this centenarian grand,

In his journey through time, he takes a stand.

Happy birthday, Enrile, may you thrive,

Forever immortal, as long as you’re alive.
