QUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Quezon City Bureau) – 100% unity is hard to achieve even with President Bongbong Marcos’ overwhelming mandate in the last elections.

This week, 6 House Representatives, all of whom are identified with the opposition or radical partylists, voted against the bill to set up the Maharlika Fund.

In the Senate, Risa Hontiveros voted “no” as expected while Nancy Binay abstained.

The Adobo Chronicles reached out to Maharlika in Los Angeles and she expressed disappointment over the no votes.
