A Permanent Lock Down For U.P. Diliman

1A53C14B-9B8C-4EC1-95FD-73F178E1F61AQUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – In the U.S., a lock down is implemented when a mass shooter is on campus.  It is a standard procedure aimed at ensuring the safety of students, teachers and staff.

Yesterday, there was a lock down at the University of the Philippines, Diliman campus.  As students walked out of their classes, the doors and gates of the university were put on a lock down.

Today, The Adobo Chronicles learned that the lock down is permanent.  U.P. Diliman will be closed permanently.

It was welcome news for millions of Filipino taxpayers who have always complained that the taxes imposed on their hard-earned income are not being put to good use.

Imagine the savings on the government’s coffers!

  1. On the one hand, this is good for all Filipino taxpayers and on the other hand, this would also put an end to producing ‘mayabang’ Filipinos for being U.P. students and future graduates from this institution.
